WHO I AM

My mom asked me when I was in high school what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I responded "I just want to get coffee with people and hear about their lives." While that may not have been a real job, my teenage self knew I was passionate about helping others grow, and my journey began.

I started my career in social work, coaching homeless teenagers, and discovered the joy of investing in the growth of others. Since then, I've had the privilege of coaching a wide variety of clients - from millennials navigating their next career move to executives seeking to improve their communications skills. While coffee is rarely involved, getting to equip others to be successful is my teenaged dream come true.

I am a California transplant who claims DC as home, although I hate DC winter. Like many Washingtonians, my career has taken me many places. I studied psychology, worked in the non-profit field, spent time as a management consultant, and work full time in people development at a Fortune 500 company. In addition my career, I have the privilege of wearing lots of hats:

  • Wife to my awesome husband, Tim

  • Mommy to my sweet baby girl, Emery

  • Sister to six younger siblings (you read that right)

  • Pastor at the incredible community I've found in my church

  • Co-owner of Starbucks (not true, but it should be based on the amount of money I give them...can't I at least get some free stock with my Grande 2 Pump Cinnamon Almond Milk Latte?!)

When I write it all down, it looks like a lot. But, the amazing thing about passion and purpose, is that when you're operating in it, it doesn't feel like work. I know it's possible for each of us to find that same "sweet spot", where our lives bring us energy and deep fulfillment. My passion and purpose is to help you find yours. I would be privileged to be a part of your journey!
